Themed Fishing Events

Renting a shack or booking a solo lesson can feel awkward and be pricey. That’s why PrairieGal has teamed up with Interlake Brewing to offer two themed group fishing days designed to be fun, welcoming, and affordable!
Each event is limited to 12 participants, keeping things cozy and social. Your registration includes lunch and everything you need for a full day on the ice! Come on your own or with a friend! You’re sure to have fun, learn something new, and meet some like-minded fishing pals!

Hey queer peers, fishy friends, and everyone under the rainbow! 

​

We’ve teamed up with Interlake Brewing to host a fabulous one-day experience for folks to try fishing and meet new friends. 

​

Whether you’ve never touched a fishing rod or you’re a seasoned angler looking for good company, PrairieGal and friends are excited to share a day of learning, laughter, and good lake vibes.

 

What’s Included:

We’ll set you up with everything you need for a great day outdoors:

  • All the fishing essentials: rods, tackle, sonar/electronic fish-finders, and frozen bait

  • Cozy comforts: heated tents and the fishing shack

  • Friendly instruction to start the day + support and tips throughout

  • A tasty Fish & Chips lunch (or veg option)

  • A refreshing craft beer from Interlake Brewing

 

​​Price is per person.  Come with your crew or come solo, there will be plenty of new friends to meet on the ice!

Whether you’ve never dropped a line through the ice or you’ve fished before but want some company, PrairieGal and friends are here to help you learn, laugh, and land some fish! Come with pals or come solo - you’re guaranteed to meet some new fishing friends.

What’s Included

We’ve got it covered! Simply show up and enjoy:

  • All fishing gear: rods, tackle, sonar/electronic fish-finders, and frozen bait

  • A cozy fishing setup: heated tents and the shack

  • Morning instruction + tips and tricks all day long

  • A delicious Fish & Chips lunch (or veg option)

  • A craft beer from Interlake Brewing

After lunch, we’ll head back onto the ice for round two of fishing fun!

Price is per person. This event is an individual sign-up (no need to form a group).
